Luis Rafael Vivanco
Luis Rafael Vivanco began his classical guitar studies in Peru at age 11. He went on to complete his B.Mus degree in guitar performance at the University of British Columbia. While completing this degree, he began studying the lute and the baroque guitar. Luis received his M.Mus at Roosevelt University in 2008. He has performed in Canada, Mexico, Peru and the United States. He is currently working on guitar and piano recording with Duo Vivanco, featuring Baroque, Classical, Contemporary & South American music.
For several years now Luis Rafael has taught guitar to students of all ages and levels. He enjoys a wide variety of music styles, with a special interest in early and contemporary Spanish and Latin music.

Stephanie Pielok was born in Paris, France, to Polish parents. She began the violin at the age of 11 in the class of Prof. Dominique Abbihssira. In 2001, she entered the Conservatoire National de Region of Cergy-Pontoise where she studied until 2007 with Prof. Franck Della Valle, concertmaster of the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris. She moved to Montreal in 2007 to study with Prof. Vladimir Landsman and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance in May 2010. Ms. Pielok received her Master’s degree in May 2012 in Prof. Ilya Kaler’s studio at DePaul University in Chicago, where she was offered the “Performance Award” scholarship. She is the Laureate of several national competitions including Leopold Belan, Nerini, Rampal, and Vatelot. She was more recently awarded a scholarship from the Polish Arts Club in Chicago.
Ms. Pielok has always been an active chamber musician, and enjoys playing in different ensembles such as trios, quartets, and quintets. She attended the Conservatoire Chamber Classes and Master Classes, the Vannes International Festival in France, the Lancut International Music Festival in Poland, the Schlern International Music Festival in Italy, the Domaine Forget in Canada, and was invited to perform as a chamber musician in the French Youth Orchestra tour.
After national auditions, Ms. Pielok entered the French Youth Orchestra when she was 15 years old and toured throughout France and Europe. She has regularly performed concerts with various orchestras in France, Canada & in the United States. Ms. Pielok is a faculty member of the Chiapas International Music Festival in Mexico, where she taught and performed in December 2011. She also took part in the Northwestern Violin Institute where she played a concert series in the summer of 2012.
